Vitamin B- Vitamin B is a term given for all of the B vitamins collectively, including Vitamin B12, Vitamin B9, Vitamin B7, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B2 and Vitamin B1. Consume lots of vitamin B rich foods such as fish, poultry, meat and beans to get rid of dandruff. Include fermented foods in your diet if you are a vegetarian. They play an important role in metabolic processes and inefficient metabolism of carbohydrates and fatty acids is one of the main causes of dandruff. Dandruff is one of the primary symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency. Deficiency of vitamin B6 makes the scalp dry and flaky. Vitamin B2 helps keep the scalp healthy by facilitating oxygen in the scalp skin.

Vitamin E- Vitamin E is fat-soluble and antioxidant. It helps repair weak, damaged cells and increases the life of hair. Vitamin E works great in improving your blood circulation, which leads to healthy hair growth. It also removes harmful toxins from the body. It makes your scalp moisturized, which makes it easier for flakes to simply fall off. Include sunflower, safflower nuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, green leafy vegetables, wheat germ, eggs, milk and meat to get vitamin E.

Vitamin C- Vitamin C plays an essential role in the circulation system, which supports the skin and scalp health. It holds antioxidant properties, which are responsible for reducing the damage that free radicals may cause including dandruff. Sugary foods- Sugary food promotes more inflammation in the body and reduces vitamin B in the body, which is a key ingredient of anti-dandruff diet. Sugary foods can promote overgrowth of Candida yeast and dandruff is often attributed to this yeast.

Food allergens- Some people may also get dandruff due to food allergies. Food allergy is an overreaction of the immune system to some particular food items. The allergic reaction varies from person to person individually. Some of the common food allergens are sprouts, soy, wheat, citrus, tomatoes, strawberries, corn, seafood, and walnuts.
